Meet Our Team
Rachel Dunning is a Licensed Professional Counselor and earned her Master's Degree in Counseling at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her passion is for teenagers, adults, singles, and families with concerns related to eating disorders, anxiety, depression, adjustment, spiritual issues, self-esteem and body image. Rachel has over five years experience in higher levels of care for treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring mood disorders, and over nine years experience in practice overall. She believes in a culturally sensitive, integrative approach that attends to body, mind and spirit, and can include counseling from a Christian perspective if desired by the client. Rachel is also owner of Charlotte Center for Counseling.
Julie Ann Hartsfeld is Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA) who obtained her masters of science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Illinois University. Jules has experience helping children, teens, and adults successfully work through a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, addiction, family conflict, and attachment. Jules also has specialized training in EMDR for PTSD and trauma recovery. Jules is passionate about building warm, collaborative relationships with clients and working together to create positive change.
Charlene Horgan is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and earned her Master’s Degree
in clinical counseling at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. She has experience assisting children and adults toward mental wellness who are dealing with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and other mental health issues. In additional she has several years of experience working with individuals experiencing loss and grief. Her passion is in helping individuals with ADHD, as well those with adjustment difficulties. She believes in incorporating a mind, body, and spirit approach to healing that can include bu is not limited to Christian counseling.
